Villa Hojnik
The smaller estate (1.5 ha) with a cottage in Dravci was inherited by Janja Hojnik in 2018 from her father, Franc Bedrač. In autumn 2020, we demolished the old cottage and built a new structure that meets high construction standards, intending for the villa to serve as a place for the extended family to gather and relax. With the onset of the pandemic in spring 2020, Matevž Hojnik decided to expand the estate.
For this purpose, three hectares of agricultural land were purchased, a charming hayrack was built, and Scottish cattle, along with various other animals, were introduced to the property. Villa Hojnik is situated on a small ecological farm where Scottish cattle graze freely. To ensure better use of the villa and regular maintenance, we decided to rent it out to guests looking for an escape from daily life, seeking peace and relaxation.

Villa Hojnik and its estate complement the regional offering of boutique tourism and operate under conditions of environmentally sustainable development and high hygiene standards. The farm is ecologically certified, and the animals are raised in a closed ecological cycle, without the use of pesticides or artificial fertilizers. We inform our guests about our commitment to eco-friendly living and encourage you to follow these guidelines as well!
⦁ The costs of water, electricity, and heating are included in the rental price. For environmental protection, we kindly ask for rational use of these resources.
Although we ensure regular changing of bed linen and towels, we encourage you to avoid doing so too frequently.
⦁ We encourage you to minimize car use during your stay, offering free bicycle and boat rentals,
and we urge you to spend as much of your free time as possible in nature, near the nearby rivers, among the hills, and in the natural park.
⦁ A rainwater collection tank is used for watering the vegetable garden.
⦁ Smoking inside the villa is not allowed.
⦁ Cleaning products in the villa carry an eco-label, and the paper towels and toilet paper are made from non-chlorine-bleached paper with an eco-label.
⦁ The pool has a depth of 1.5 meters. Swimming in it improves well-being, but its use is at your own risk. The pool is only open in summer and is not heated.
